Highland Copper Company Inc. is a Canadian mining company focused on acquiring, exploring and developing copper projects within the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, U.S.A. The Upper Peninsula is well known for hosting significant concentrations of copper and silver in numerous deposits. During its productive period, from 1845 to 1995, the area produced in excess of 15 billion pounds of copper.
Highland's projects include the 100% owned Copperwood feasibility stage Project, the White Pine North Project (subject to final closing) and an option to acquire a 65% interest in the Keweenaw Project. Mineral resource estimates have been published for the Copperwood and Keweenaw deposits.
